As many of you know I was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2022 and am still receiving treatment. The patients at Addenbrookes and no doubt also at Norfolk & Norwich Hospital are visibly supported by Macmillan with helpful suggestions, comforting words and practical freebies.

On 20 May 2023, Rob and Alastair (in my place as I will still be recovering from breast surgery) are taking part in a Mighty Hike of 26 miles along the picturesque Norfolk coastline to raise money for Macmillan so that they can continue their invaluable support for people living with cancer.

We have pledged to raise £500 between us and would appreciate any support in reaching this. It could go towards funding a Macmillan Support Worker for two days who could provide emotional, practical and financial advice to someone affected by cancer.
