Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As many of you may know I lost my dad Richard Dempsey (aka Dick) on 16th March 2002 to cancer. My dad was the funniest man I've had the pleasure of knowing - always telling jokes and funny stories - he was always helping people and would give you the last penny he had in his pocket if you needed it - he was a wonderful dad and a lovely man and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss him.
Sadly I also lost a friend and work colleague last year. Her name was Jo de Saulles and she died from a rare form of cancer aged 32. Jo was the most beautiful person I have ever met - she was stunning, bright, funny, very hard working, a pleasure to be around, but most importantly she didn't judge people and never had a bad word to say about anyone. Jo was a very caring person and raised a huge amount of money for various charities. Jo was an inspiration and so brave and I will never forget her.
I am running the Cardiff half marathon in memory of Dad and Jo and to help raise money for a very worthy cause - Cancer Research. Please help me do this by sponsoring me - donations big or small would be very much appreciated.
