This cause is very important to Ailish and I because my mum is recovering from breast cancer which was diagnosed in December 2006. Throughout it all she has been an inspiration and no matter what they threw at her she kept smiling. But then that comes as no surprise to people who know her! I'd also like to mention my friend, Katie, who died from breast cancer 10 years ago when she was just 40.
