During the last few months of Shaku's illness, she spent a short time at the Princess Alice Hospice, a place that looked after her very well with compassion and respect. Their incredible efforts meant our family had the space to spend precious time with her. They welcomed us without hesitation to stay with her all day and throughout the night. 

The hospice cared for her and supported our family immeasurably during a very difficult time. When the opportunity came to raise vital funds for Princess Alice Hospice, we were happy and eager to take part in this 8 mile walk. 

We know for a fact there are many more families who will be affected in the future and will also rely on the hospice in their time of need. Therefore we would greatly appreciate any donations towards this much needed cause.
