Hello, i'm Glen and i'm presently doing a year at Nexus, a Christian Music college in Coventry. The course i'm on is a mixture of Keyboard and Biblical study. As part of the year here i'm partaking in 'Rag Week' which is a fundraising initiative by the college for the college which is a registered charity.

Part of everyone's job here is to help fundraise for the college, as the fees raised from students do not cover our running costs and we rely on donation and sponsorship. Each year we come up with a fundraising challenge for a Raising and Giving (RAG) week, and this year is a 771 kilometre cycle from Coventry to Amsterdam and back (771 students have passed through Nexus since it was founded, not just a random number!) 

Our building situation at Nexus is already stretched with our current number of students. With accreditation on the horizon along with students from outside the EU, we will need to prepare for a phase of expansion and our current premises will need to be enlarged. As part of that we will be focusing funds on paying off the last small piece of the payments on owning Astoria house outright. From that secure platform we will then look to launch into the global vision associated with Nexus, with tangible progress in South Africa an an example.
