Story
In August 2021 - assuming it's safe, COVID-19-wise - I will be cycling 1345km with 13000m of climbing, from Edinburgh-Plymouth-London, raising money for PEEPS, a charity who work to increase awareness and support families going through the trauma of losing a newborn child.
Lockdown has been hard on all of us, as has a lack of physical contact with the people closest to us. So instead of logging into Zoom, I will be visiting the majority of my UK-based friends-and-family's houses via the power of my legs.
Full disclosure, I'll be taking a few days in the middle to hang out with my nephews who I've not seen for 18 months, so I'm not doing it in a straight oner - but it will still be the biggest, highest, probably rainiest proper cycle challenge I've done.
I'm hoping to raise at least £1 per KM travelled. Go on! Chip in.
