Story
Ten members of the Company and staff are embarking on a four day charity cycle ride, visiting our seven affiliated secondary schools.
This charity cycle is to raise fund's and awareness of the Master's Charity, Place2Be (https://place2be.org.uk/), which provides mental health support in schools through one to one and group counselling. It also offers training and professional qualifications.
Our ‘Tours de Drapers’ will start at Kirkham Grammar School, Preston, on Tuesday 20 September. We will then go onto to visit Thomas Adams, Wem and Howell's Llandaff. On the last day (Fri 23rd September), we will visit our four London schools: Sir George Monoux College, St Paul's Way Trust and Bancroft's School, finishing at Drapers' Academy, Harold Hill.
During the 250 miles of very mixed terrain… we hope to raise awareness of the charity's good work at each of the schools we visit.
Please do support the team by making a donation to Place2Be.
