Story

We are to cycle the majority of the Welsh perimeter this year in some sadistic excuse for a holiday in the times of COVID-19. The route follows the course created by my Grandfather - Brian Wilbraham - in 1985 with two of his friends. We will re-trace memories of binges on fish and chips and rollercoaster of emotions - but hopefully not the saddle sores.

My other wonderful Grandfather - Stewart Watson - has suffered from Parkinson's Disease after being diagnosed in 2012

Parkinson's UK is and particularly their collaboration with Sport focus is an important step to get people that have been challenged over the last 18 months active to maintain their independance and general wellbeing.

Parkinson's UK and Sport Parkinson's are proud to be working in partnership to provide access to physical activity and exercise for individuals, groups and communities to improve the mental and physical wellbeing of all people affected by Parkinsons. Over the course of the next 3 years we are aiming to raise £175,000 for the Parkinson's UK Active Community Grants Programme

Please give to this cause.

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.
