Story

We are delighted that the the Lord Hill pub is once again raising funds for both the Bexley Moorings Project and Bexley Snap with the return of their charity bike ride - The Tour de Bexley!

This is the fourth time they have run the event and an amazing 60 riders have signed up to take part in the ride which starts in Brighton and follows a unique route back to the Lord Hill in Bexleyheath where they will be holding an all day party!

Please support all those involved in the organisation of the event, the volunteers who will be marshalling and of course the 60 riders going to such efforts to support young people in Bexley!

All funds raised will be split between The Bexley Moorings Project and Bexley Snap - both local charities supporting young people and their families in Bexley.

BEXLEY MOORINGS PROJECT supports young people up to the age of 18 years via cognitive behavioural therapy, befriending and group support with the help of a much valued team of staff and volunteers.

The Bexley Moorings Project is a small charity providing invaluable support to some of the most vulnerable young people in Bexley. The young people we support may be experiencing abuse, bullying or social isolation. Support is offered by volunteers through a one to one befriending service providing the young people with a listening ear, as well as a weekly group to develop the young people’s social skills. Funds raised will go towards the cost of running these services, as well as one-off trips and experiences which the young people would not otherwise have access to.
