Story
We're Team Toumazis, and we're running the London Marathon 2022 to raise money for the NSPCC.
NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) is the UK's leading children's charity, dedicated to ending child abuse and neglect.
The NSPCC has been making a difference in children's lives for 130 years. Thanks to its campaigns, its services, its volunteers, and its supporters, it has helped make 7 million children safer from abuse in the last five years alone.
We're running for the NSPCC because we believe that every childhood is worth fighting for. If you believe so too, or if you just like the idea of us panting our way through London (equally valid), please show us your support. Big or small, every donation counts.
Thank you!
£4 would pay for a child to speak to Childline.
£25 would pay for an NSPCC helpline counsellor to give an hour's support to an adult who's worried about a child.
£112 would pay for a face-to-face counselling session for a young person in care, helping them to overcome the problems they've faced.
£500 would pay for life-changing therapy to help a child recover from abuse and rebuild their life.
£1,600 would pay for the recruitment, training and support of a Childline counsellor.
