I am taking part in another 15km Tough Mudder to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease Association.
A good friend of my family is currently battling with Motor Neurone Disease and I would absolutely love to raise some money to help find a cure for this disease.
This charity means a lot to me and my family for obvious reasons. It focuses on improving access to care, research, and campaigning for those living with or affected by MND in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
Motor Neurone Disease is a fatal, rapidly progressing disease that affects the brain and spinal cord. MND can leave people locked in a failing body, unable to move, talk, swallow, and eventually breathe. There is currently no cure or effective treatment thus funding for research and drug trials is much needed.
