Story
It's hard to believe that this year is already the 5th Annual 'Tou de Lou' charity ride cycling from Blackburn Royal Hospital where my Mum was born to the (now former) Sue Ryder hospice in Nettlebed where she passed away in 2018.
All of the nurses and carers at Sue Ryder cared so well for Mum in her final weeks, and continued to support our family after she died.
Over the past 4 years we've raised some much needed funds for the Sue Ryder charity who rely so much on donations to support the amazing work they do, providing over 830,000 hours of palliative care every year. This year we hope to continue with our fundraising efforts so more families can get this support when they need it the most.
See https://www.sueryder.org/support-us/make-a-donation/how-we-spend-your-donations to learn more about the wonderful work Sue Ryder do.
Thank you again for supporting this charity, it means a lot to us, and you can follow the ride from 9th - 11th September 2022 by searching for #toudelou on twitter/facebook/insta.
