We use the power of sporting memories to improve the wellbeing of older people

Story

On Friday 13th May 2022, EatSleep Media premiered their latest film, Tosh, to over 300 people at the Swansea.com Stadium. The event included a live Q and A with ex-Swansea players Alan Curtis, Leighton James, David Giles, Nigel Stevenson and Dudley Lewis, as well as a range of memorabilia and match worn shirts from the Tosh era. Also attending on the night were the Haverfordwest branch of The Sporting Memories Foundation.

EatSleep Media have decided to provide a link to all of the photos taken on the night for people to download and use as they please. If people would like to make a donation to The Sporting Memories Foundation they can. The Sporting Memories Foundation supports volunteers working with older people to tackle dementia, depression and loneliness. Using archive sporting images and memorabilia to trigger long held favourite memories, the charity provides stimulating and fun activities that promote wellbeing. It’s a charity doing great work and we’ve already raised £234 from a raffle on the night of the Tosh premiere, which is being sent directly to the Haverfordwest branch. We’d love to see how much more we can raise to help them deliver great and important work.

Thank you.
