We fund lifesaving research to to tackle heart and circulatory diseases

Story

TorqueVolvo is the official home of the 2021 attempt to break a World Record for the largest number of Volvo cars to travel in a parade. This year we are proud and pleased to be helping raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives.

It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures.

£24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help us hit our target of £10,000 for this most worthy of charities.

If you own a Volvo car please join to help set a new world record on Sunday June 27th 2021. Please follow us on Facebook at TorqueVolvo where we will keep you up to date with all the news and information in advance of the day.

The event is called Volvo600 as, 600 cars, is the number of Volvo cars we need to have onsite in order to better the existing record set in 2010.

If you are a Volvo car owner, we request your help on Sunday 27th June 2021 at Elvington....so...cancel all foreign holidays, birthdays & wedding arrangements....Sunday, 27th June 2021 is the official date when the Volvo Community Needs You !!

The Venue is Elvington... boasting a Runway of 3000m, or 1.86 Miles in old money....perfect to get 600 rolling Volvos to break the current World Record.

Elvington is located just East of York and conveniently  allowing easy access from all corners of the Country.

We need your help to spread the word, share with friends and colleagues, convince neighbours to buy a Volvo and have Sunday 27th June 2021 burnt to memory.
