Story

Top Cog challenge now delayed until 29th of May! due to rubbish organisation.

Cough up some dosh for several fools that think its a good idea to collect old bikes and ride them from coast to coast. As the route from Whitehaven to Whitley Bay is covered by the Great North Air Ambulance we thought we would show our appreciation in advance of potentially requiring their services by donating all proceeds to the charity that provides...

·         Primary medical response

·         Secondary medical response

·         Acute hospital transfers

·         Specialist medical team transfers

·         Support medical services for police firearms teams and mountain search and rescue teams.

·         Emergency medical training.

...to Cumbria, Durham, Northumberland and North Yorkshire!

GNAA operates a fleet of three helicopters to ensure that the majority of the north of england is within a 15 minute flying radius of one of its bases. It costs £1.2m per year to operate each ambulance, entirely funded from public donations.
