"Challenges are what make life interesting, and overcoming them is what makes life meaningful"
2020 has certainly presented lots of unexpected challenges that together, we will overcome. A first of its kind, a 'Virtual London Marathon' awaits and will be more meaningful than previous London Marathon's during these unprecedented times.
I am extremely fortunate to be given another opportunity to run the London Marathon for such a good cause. Albeit a more local 'Virtual London Marathon'. Sticking to the Wirral, I will run at least 26.2 miles on Sunday 4th October, proudly wearing my VLM 2020 running number. My intentions for the Virtual London Marathon are simple:- to complete the course the same day without any injury, and of course to enjoy every second with friends along the way.
As always, I am raising money for St Vincent's which is a specialist school for sensory impairment and other needs (www.stvin.com).
This is a small charity (Charity Registration No 1102657) that really appreciates every single donation that is made, regardless of size. Any donation you can afford to make will really make such a big difference to the children of St Vincent's who are faced with challenges most of us can only imagine. Sight is a wonderful gift that most of us take for granted!
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, and for any contribution that you can make. I don't do Facebook or other social media, this is probably as 'tech savvy' as it gets for me, so please share this page and information with as many friends as possible.
