Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
On March 26th I will be running 6 marathons in 6 days accross the Sahara Desert to raise funds for HFT
The 'marathon des sables' is regarded as the toughest footrace in the world. Competitors have to carry everything they need on their backs, water is rationed and we will have to prepare all our own food. We will experience midday temperatures of up to 50 degrees, and we will be running over sand dunes and rocky and unenen ground that will trash our feet.
So why am I doing it? Because it's the toughest and scariest thing I could think of doing. Most of us are fortunate to be happy and healthy but there are millions more who endure physical and mental suffering all their lives.
But I will not be able to do it on my own. I will need the help and generosity of many people to keep me going when it gets really tough.
So please sponsor me now.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Home Farm Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
