As a family we have just had our world turned upside-down by the sudden death of Tony.  He was diagnosed just a year ago with age onset diabetes, he was otherwise in good health and remained so for the whole of 2010. 

 

We would like to support the fundraising efforts to purchase a scanner for Southampton General Hospital to help to detect pancreatic cancer at an early stage. 

 

Tony was 72 years old and the centre of his family's world - from the time of his confirmed diagnosis of this devastating disease we only had 10 days in which to bring him home and to care for him until he passed away on January 21st 2011.
