Story
Any of you that know me will be aware that I am not a particularly healthy person and hiking 13 miles across the rugged terrain of the north coast of Northern Ireland, is certainly going to be pushing myself outside of my comfort zone (this is normally the sofa).
However I recently lost a friend to cancer and know that I have to get up off my fat backside and do something to raise money to help those people and their families that are impacted by this devastating illness.
Tim told his wife whilst he was in hospital "we have to do more to help", so in his memory that is what I am doing.
For me doing this event is going to be a real challenge both on the day and more importantly in the build up. Not being an active person, pushing myself to get walking either on the treadmill or outside is going to be really tough - but I'm not going to shy away from it and all my walks will be recorded and logged to this page.
The more support I get the harder it will be to let you all and Tim down, so if you want to see me suffer some pain and push my limits to achieve something I've never done before hit that donate button and lets do this.
Thanks for supporting my fundraising.
Anthony.
