Today FM asked for people to participate in 50 shaves of Grey so I thought why not, I've been grey now for many years and sure it will grow back. At least I have that choice. Many people through illness and cancer treatments don't. They don't have a choice whether to live or die. Cancer makes that choice for them . They say everyone knows someone touched by cancer, but it shouldn't have to be that way. They also say that someday cancer will be beaten, but why not in our lifetime, and our children's.

Why should we accept cancer in our society. Funding is the only way research can be carried out to eventually beat this before it beats us.

I say , go away cancer, leave our kids, our parents, our brothers and sisters, and our family and friends alone.
