This is my first time tackling the marathon having completed four halfs so far in my 'career'. As well as being a huge personal achievement, I am also excited to be raising money for the British Heart foundation. BHF are leading the fight against heart disease, which is the leading cause of death in the UK and worldwide. By donating you are not only encouraging me to smash it on the day, but also helping to identify, treat and fund research into future projects minimising this condition.
