As part of my company, Omnicom Media Group UK, I am taking part in a virtual marathon for Age UK. 

Age UK are seeing unprecedented demand for their services and expect this to continue to grow over the coming weeks and months. 

I am committing to covering a marathon distance over the next month (however will personally aim to complete within a week to add a bit of spice to proceedings). My colleagues and I will be doing this by running, walking and / or taking part in a range of other exercises that can be done in our homes. Together, we hope to raise over £50k for Age UK and help support the older people at this difficult time. 

- £10 could enable a local Age UK to deliver services within communities such as a food parcel to an isolated older person.

- £15 could pay to answer three calls to our advice line from vulnerable older people needing information and support on how to cope during this crisis. 

- £20 could pay for two weekly befriending calls to self-isolated older people who have no one to turn to.
