Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. I’m running the 2023 TCS London Marathon on April 23, 2023. I’ll be running for The West Midlands Lupus Group, raising funds to support The LUPUS UK Specialist Lupus Nurses.

Some of you who’ve landed on this page know I am a lupus warrior and are aware of my lupus education, awareness, and health equity efforts in the United States. My goal is to not only run the London Marathon, but to extend my advocacy to other parts of the world. Yes, running the London Marathon is super dope! How fortunate can one be to have this opportunity to run their first in-person marathon in London… a World Marathon Major? The icing on the cake, or the strawberries in a smoothie, is that I can fundraise for a cause that is crucially important to me. 

By supporting my fundraiser for West Midlands Lupus Group, you are truly improving and saving the lives of other lupus warriors. The LUPUS UK Specialist Lupus Nurses play a critical role in the care of lupus patients. The service they provide can significantly improve a patient’s overall well-being and help reduce medication non-adherence. Clinical nurse specialists not only enhance the whole patient experience but also benefit in reducing the number of doctor’s appointments.
