Only 5 months ago i lost my eldest sister to cancer.  Eldest? She was only 66!  My family now fully appreciate these terrible unbiased statistics.  It’s horrible watching a close member of your family literally wither away into nothing yet somehow welcoming to watch the expression of their face relax as they gently pass over to wherever they go.  The relief is actually unexplainable.

My last words to her were regretfully (not really) i will run the London Landmarks Half Marathon with her pinned to the back of my T Shirt.  The fact i have a foot injury and recovering from Bronchitis won’t stop me from fulfilling my last words when i was willing her to let go of the life she so dearly loved.

Stand Up 2 Cancer (SU2C) is very real!  Shockingly so, 1 in 2 are horrendous odds and need resolving……..

……….so I’m afraid it is with much regret that i am asking for donations to the Breast Cancer charity in aid of my late sister, Geraldine.
