Lisa Lynch was an incredibly special lady who had a huge positive impact on the lives of pretty much everyone she met.

I count myself lucky enough to be one of those, so it is a privilege to be able to raise money for Trinity Hospice – whose incredible work in caring for the terminally ill gave Lisa the kind of pleasure she invariably gave those around her throughout 2012.

Knowing the kind of lazy arse I am all too well, Lisa would be mighty amused to know I am running the London Marathon in her memory. So give generously, so my intense chafing on the day isn't for nothing.
