My old, heavy body isn't designed for running but I was inspired to enter the Manchester 10k to, a) get fitter, b) have some fun on the day and c) raise money for a very worthy cause.

My primary objective was to run the whole 10k without stopping or walking. I achieved this and completed the course in 1 hour 5 minutes and 10 seconds. Well chuffed!
