Our daughter Maya passed away on the 2nd of August 2012, from meningococcal septicaemia. It was such a shock how quickly this disease took effect. So that is why it is so important to spread awareness and raise money to help the meningitis research foundation, so hopefully they can move forward in trying to find a cure or prevention so other families dont have to endure the same pain and heartbreak that we are going through.
