Tony 's Double Marathon challange

Virgin London Marathon 2014 · 13 April 2014 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
So it’s that time once again when I do my annual fundraising challenge.
For those of you that don’t know, I like to challenge and push me self while raising money for charities that are close to me heart. In the past I have taken part in charity boxing matches, a 1300ft sky dive, 540ft abseil to name a few, raising money for charities such as Raleigh International, Princes Trust, Cancer UK and YourStory
This year I’ve decide to take part in my toughest challenge to date…..
I will be under taking not 1 but 2 challenges
Firstly I will take on the streets of London by competing in the London Marathon 2014 running 26.2 mile which takes place on April 13th then I will be taking on Full Mucker http://www.ratracedirtyweekend.com/#up which is a 20 mile obstacle course that is designed by the Special Forces taking place on 10 May 2014
This will be undoubtedly the toughest thing that I have ever done not only because of the distance that is involved or the physically challenging obstacles but for the point of it being running that I hate with a passion.
I have enlisted the support of FitzRoy Lodge Boxing Club http://www.fitzroylodge.co.uk/ to help me prepare for this epic challenge in the hope that I come out of it with some of my body intact.
The reason why I’m putting my body through this pain is to support an organisation called London Community Foundation www.londoncf.org.ukwhich offers support to small charities that get over looked however do some vital work with in the community. The way LCF supports the small charities is be offering them grants enabling them to deliver some fantastic programmes and engage the communities. Without the support of LCF many smaller charities would go out of business and would have a direct impact on the communities that they are involved in.
Please give what you can as every penny really does count and could be the difference between a charity staying open or closing for good.
