I was delighted to undertake a AFF Level 1 sky dive on the 24th June 2023 to raise money for The Forward Trust. I chose this charity as they believe, like I do, that everyone can live a fulfilling life, regardless of past issues including mental health and addictions, empowering people to turn their life around - even at their lowest points. 

Over the years both Shubhpreet and I  have seen the tremendous damage that such issues can cause and the terrible waste of life that follows, along with the pain it causes to loved ones, so are very keen to help in this small way. 

The Forward Trust were recently part of the 'Taking Action On Addiction' campaign (https://www.actiononaddiction.org.uk/) launched by HRH The Princess Of Wales to raise awareness of addiction and is an incredibly worth while cause.  

The sky dive wasn't a tandem, rather I free fell from 13,000 feet  accompanied (but not attached), opened my parachute at 6000 feet, controlled the canopy to the landing position following a prescribed landing pattern before landing independently. 

It was amazing ! I did however lose a trainer in the process  - at around 6000 feet !
