Happy Space Park Challenge · 15 October 2022 ·

This year we are running our first sponsored event - the Happy Space Park Challenge. In just one day, we will join together with an incredible group of supporters to walk 30 miles across the Royal Parks of London.

Story

I am walking 30 miles to help raise funds for Happy Space UK. Prevention is better than cure and Happy Space is the mental wellbeing charity that protects the minds of tomorrow. Happy Space want to prevent mental health problems from arising wherever possible by providing outstanding wellbeing education. They envisage a time where mental health stigma doesn't exist and where every young person has the toolkit they need to help look after their mental health in the transition to adulthood and beyond. In 2021, Happy Space resources reached over 17,000 students. Teachers rated their guidebooks 9/10 for usefulness and students wellbeing literacy improved dramatically across the board, including an 84% increase in their understanding of the link between food and wellbeing and a whopping 90% increase in their understanding of the link between finance and wellbeing!
