Campaign by Tree of Hope (RCN 1149254 In Scotland SC042611)
We are fundraising home adaptations, therapies and equipment

Story

Evie is the two-year-old daughter of my friends Adam and Rach Lerner.

From the age of around 9 months Evie stopped hitting developmental milestones; her cognitive development is severely delayed, she is not able to talk, and she has hypermobility, meaning her joints are excessively flexible and she struggles to support herself.

Despite ongoing tests and assessment, Evie's condition remains largely undiagnosed. A recent MRI scan revealed an abnormality called hypomyelination, which is a white matter brain condition that causes the processing of information to be distorted.

Every day, Evie shows a desire to move and have close contact with people – she cuddles, smiles and blows kisses. All money raised will go towards therapies to help Evie.

You can read more about Evie's condition and associated fundraising efforts here: https://www.justgiving.com/evieseverest

I've put in 262 training miles so far this year, 3.4 of them vertical. I'll post an update nearer to race day. Thanks for your support <3
