Tom Runs the Paris Marathon for the PSPA in Memory of Mike Otty
Fundraising for The PSP Association
Fundraising for The PSP Association
Hi everyone,
My name is Tom, I’m a PhD Researcher, and I am fundraising for an incredible charity: the PSP Association. The reason that I am training for the Paris Marathon on Sunday 3rd April is because, after a long fight, my grandfather Mike sadly passed away in December 2021 from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). This is an incurable disease and the PSP Association is the only UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of people living with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) and Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD). They provide information and support for people affected by PSP & CBD whilst funding research into the causes, treatment, and eventually a cure.
My family and I would be very grateful for any donations to this wonderful, important charity. Coincidentally, 3rd April is also Mike’s birthday, and I hope that this fundraising will make a great gift to a charity that has done so much to help Mike and many others who have PSP and CBD.
Thank you,
Tom
