I am going on a Convoy to Belarus on 6th July, for 10 days, with Corpus Christi High School. I was lucky enough to be picked, along with 9 other pupils, 3 others who also went to Holy Family Primary School, to run a Summer Camp at the Orphange . Corpus Christi have been running this summer camp for several years now.

We had to write a letter to the Headmaster explaining why we wanted to go, then get picked for an interview, pass that and then be selected for the trip.

The trip involves travelling on the 3,000 mile return journey by road to Minsk, in the school minibus ! No hotels along the way.  We will be living on the bus until we get there.  The Orphanage is home to 75 3 - 6 year old orphans, and i along with my friends will be giving up my time to support these deprived children both by improving their environment and giving them the desperately needed hugs that they deserve. 

We are running several fundraising events through school and at home.
