Story

Oherwydd y pandemig aruthrol dani wrthi’n ei wynebu, mae Clwb Pêl Droed Waunfawr wedi penderfynu fod hi’n awyddus (fel sawl arall) I wneud rhywbeth bach er mwyn rhoi yn ôl i weithwyr allweddol GIG.

Bydd aelodau o’r clwb, sy'n cynnwys chwaraewyr presennol ac aelodau’r pwyllgor, yn anelu i redeg 2,000 o gilomedrau drwy gydol mis Mai. Mi fydd hun yn gamp reit heriol i’r nifer sydd ddim yn gwneud llawer rhedeg mewn gemau fel mai!

Bydd statudau pob sesiwn rhedeg yr unigolyn yn cael ei gofnodi ar STRAVA, a bydd cyfanswm cilomedrau’r tîm ar gael ar gyfryngau cymdeithasol y clwb yn rheolaidd.

Mae’r tîm wedi penderfynu cael y bel i rowlio drwy roi’r
pres a gasglwyd drwy'r system ‘ffeins’ sydd fel arfer yn mynd at barti diwedd tymor at yr achos.

Rhowch yn hael at achos teilwng, bydd y Beganifs yn hynod
ddiolchgar o unrhyw gyfraniad tuag at ein hymdrech i roi rhywbeth bach yn ôl.

In light of the recent pandemic, Waunfawr FC have decided to give a little something back to the key workers of the NHS.

The club’s current players and committee members will aim to run 2,000 in the month of May. (We don’t believe that some players even run in games, let alone attempt this cumulative goal!).

Stats for each of their sessions will be published on STRAVA, and regular updates will be available on our social media platforms.

The team has decided to get the ball rolling by donating the
current ‘fines’ pot collected by the players. This pot was intended to be used at the end of season party but collectively thought this was a much more worthy alternative.

Any contribution to the cause will be very much appreciated, as we aim to give a little something back to our precious NHS.

DIOLCH/THANK YOU.
