Hello my name is Tommy Mitchell. I am originally from an area just south of Kanas City called Stilwell, Kansas. The past four years I attended Creighton University where I obtained a degree in Sustainability. I am extremely excited to serve in the Syracuse community as I joined JVC so that I could use my gifts for the betterment of others. In addition, my older sister went through JVC and seeing the impact the program had on her was and is inspiring. In Syracuse I will be working with the Catholic Charities of Onondaga County as an Emergency Assistance Services Outreach Worker. This role will entail a variety of tasks; however, its main purpose will be to assist those in economic crisis. I look forward to experiencing and serving within the Syracuse Community!
