Story

On Sunday 3 April 2022 I'll be taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise vital funds for Centrepoint.

Centrepoint is the UK's leading charity for homeless young people. Together with their partners, they support more than 14,000 homeless 16-25 year olds into a home and job every year through giving them a safe place to live and support with their health, education, and learning needs. They start them on a path to more independence and the ability to achieve their short and long term goals.

Im a great believer in giving thanks for the up bringing and path my parents presented me, whilst recognising that others didn't necessarily have that same support and therefore I want to give back to those that are in need of support.

I love running. Im not a typical profile of a runner, however this challenge will take me out of my comfort zone and will most of all be a test of my mindset to achieve something in fitness that Id normally not be that fussed about.

As Im writing this, I ran 5km yesterday in 31 minutes, my goal will be to achieve this 21km in under 130 minutes.

Any donations will be greatly appreciated
