I need to ask for your help.
Yes, I am now one of those people asking for your donations but, believe me, this is an incredibly important cause.
To time with turning 40 I have decided to take on a charitable challenge: I will be climbing the highest peak in North Africa for Trekstock in May 2019 which is a charity that makes sure that people suffering from cancer in their 20's and 30's don't face it alone. Did you know that 34 young adults in the UK are diagnosed each day?
When you receive a cancer diagnosis, it can be frightening, so Trekstock are there with you every step of the way; from practical advice, to exercise support and they have an online & offline community so that you don't feel alone. Cancer will affect all of us at some point - either personally or via a loved one and charities such as Trekstock provide invaluable support and motivation to fight it.
The challenge I have taken on is no walk in the park and it isn't a holiday. It will be long days, undulating terrain, heavy packs, unpredictable weather and making camp by sunset each day, so myself and the team need your support to help us smash this once in a lifetime challenge.
Let's fight cancer together!
