On 3 November 2023, I will be embarking on the challenge of trekking the Inca Train in Peru's Andes Mountains alongside some of my colleagues at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, to raise money for the business' chosen charity - Alder Hey Neonatal Appeal.

All money raised will go towards our overall objective of raising £80,000 for a family room facility at Alder Hey's new state-of-the-art surgical neonatal intensive care unit, allowing parents and their families to be alongside their poorly newborn babies whilst receiving expert care.

The challenge of hiking the Inca Trail - culminating in a view over world wonder, Machu Picchu - will be in addition to several fundraising events we will be participating in over the next 12 months including bag packs, car washes and sponsored bike rides.
