As a Queen fanatic from way, way, back and a certified Glambert from the beginning, the Queen + Adam Lambert tour was a gift for us, and a tremendous way to honor Freddie Mercury and his incredible life and talents. Now I would like to ask fellow fans of both to give something back.

September 5, Freddie's birthday, is the Mercury Phoenix Trust's annual Freddie for a Day fundraiser. The MPT was formed by Queen and its organization in Freddie's memory to support AIDS awareness and programs around the world.

I hope you you will join me, from now until September 5, in saying THANK to Brian, Roger, and Adam for their stupendous performances, and for keeping the music alive by donating whatever you can.
