London - Monte Carlo · 14 May 2012
As a duo myself and Dean Hopkins are cycling London - Monte carlo, 900 miles in 9 days. Beginning at the 18th of June we intend to cover the distance A near 1000 mile bike to push the limits of endurance through low country and high Alpine ranges to raise money for a humanitarian cause. We have the luxury of a support team (vehicle) with 3 friends who will be helping with catering and resource management including a Go Pro camera's attached to our bikes and a main film camera from the vehicle.
The route will officially take the course of
London to Calais (116 miles), Calais to St.Quentin (129 miles), St. Quentin to Troyes(146 miles), Dijon to Bourg en Bresse (93 miles), Bourg en Bresse toGrenoble (95 miles), Grenoble to Briancon (79 miles), Briancon to St Andre les Alpes (117 miles) and finally St Andre les Alpes to Monte Carlo (99 miles).
The charity we will be suffering for is Cancer Research UK. Wild Camping throughout France makes this an amazing challenge and will be worth every penny raised, if not just to see the look of sheer torture on the documentary. So donate today!!
