Thanks for taking the time to visit my page!
On 24th June 2023, I will be taking part in the National Three Peaks Challenge as part of the Mobilising Officer Group made up of Fire Control personnel from across the UK.
Together we will be climbing the three highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales within the traditional 24 hour target! This will include walking approximately 23 miles and climbing around 10,500 ft.
The three mountains are:
Ben Nevis, Scotland - 1,345m
Scafell Pike, England - 978m
Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), Wales - 1,085m
This challenge is all in aid of the amazing work carried out by The Fire Fighters Charity and to highlight the important role our Fire Controls and Fire Control personnel play in helping our communities, which are both very close to my heart.
The Fire Fighters Charity offers specialist lifelong support for members of the UK’s fire services community, empowering individuals to achieve mental, physical and social wellbeing throughout their lives.
To ensure the Charity can do this for over 5,000 people a year and to meet the £9m cost of operating its support services, it is dependent on regular donations from fire and rescue service personnel, past and present, as well as the general public.
Please share the page and if you can donate it would be greatly appreciated - thank you for your support!
