In 2019 we sadly lost Hannah's mum, Hazel, to oesophageal cancer. Like nearly everyone who has found themselves in this situation, we never thought this would happen to a close family member. It came as a huge unexpected shock and life hasn't been the same since. 

Since losing Hazel we have both wanted to do more fundraising for MacMillan.

In 2021, me and Hannah took part in the MacMillan Lake District Mighty Hike. It was good to raise money for such a worthy cause and to take on a physical challenge at the same time. Thanks to the generosity of others we raised nearly £800 for MacMillan last time. 

In 2022, we'll be taking-on the Northumberland Mighty Hike; a 1-day 26 mile hike from Alnwick Castle to Bamburgh Castle. We can't wait to take part in the walk and to see how much fundraising we can do this time.
