We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

We are very excited to be attempting to climb the Three Peaks with our team at Burston Cook to raise as much money as we can for our chosen charities. 11 of us have set ourselves the challenge of climbing the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in just 24 hours!

As most of you will know, Tom's lovely Mum Jill is suffering from Alzheimer's disease, which is the most common cause of dementia.  Jill had to rely on support from her children and friends, as well as private care at home, which, through the pandemic was tough and meant massively reduced social contact and suspended support services.

Dementia is the UK's biggest cause of death and there is currently no cure. Alzheimer's Society campaigns for change, funds research to find a cure and supports people living with dementia so that nobody should have to face dementia alone.

We are so very grateful for any donation you can make, no matter how small to help us reach our target and get us up those hills!

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
