Story
As many of you will know, our Dad passed away suddenly on 3rd June 2013.
It was completely unexpected and there was no warning. He was 49, fit, healthy and a GP. He had two undiagnosed heart conditions that presented no symptoms.
This year is our 10th without him, and we wanted to mark this by taking on a challenge together in his memory. We have both run half marathons before, but never the full 26 miles. We have decided to run the London Marathon in April and raise money for the British Heart Foundation. The BHF fund around £100 million of research each year into all heart and circulatory diseases and the things that cause them. They have helped to halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK, and our family have experienced personally the support and advice they offer.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
