We support Addenbrooke's and the Rosie to change patients' lives.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As most of you know, I’m a front line police officer dealing with the Coronavirus pandemic along with other emergency service colleagues. I’m massively inspired by our NHS and the efforts of Captain Tom Moore I’m supporting them.

Thursday 30th April 2020 marks Captain Toms 100th birthday and in honour of him & our NHS I intend to run a half marathon......in full police riot gear! My route will be from Royston Police Station to Addenbrookes hospital. I haven’t trained for this & it’s a spontaneous idea! The kit weighs 20-30kg (I weigh 68kg!) so all your support and motivation is much appreciated!

All funds raised will go towards supporting our NHS and the amazing service they provide.

About the charity

We want to ensure that every patient at Addenbrooke's and the Rosie hospitals experiences the highest quality of care available. We raise funds for cutting edge technology, additional specialist staff and extra comforts for patients, over and above what is possible with NHS funding alone.
