Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On September 6th 2015 I will be cycling from London to Brighton for VSO, the charity I work for as a Creative Designer. 54 miles, which is about 30 miles more than I've ever cycled in a single day before now.

VSO is an international development charity. Their volunteers work with local organisations that help people. They give children a future through education. They improve the standards of care in hospitals. They train poor people in the skills they need to earn a living. They do whatever needs to be done to break down the barriers that trap people in poverty.

VSO have done some amazing work across the world, but don't get the exposure or funding that a lot of other international charities get. I hope that my doing this ride will go a little way towards changing that, as well as giving me an excuse to get my large, Welsh rear in gear!

About the charity

VSO is an international development organisation that brings people together to share skills, build capabilities, and change lives to make the world a fairer place for all. Everyday, VSO volunteers are working to empower people living in some of the world’s most marginalised communities.
