Thank you for taking your time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 26th April 2020 I am running the London Marathon to raise money for the Stroke Association.
In March 2019, whilst skiing on holiday in Switzerland, my Dad suffered a bleed on the brain. Following a life-saving craniotomy operation, my Dad spent 3 weeks in hospital before being transferred back to the UK for further Hospital care. After spending 4 months at Leamington Rehabilitation Hospital, he is now back at home and continues to make improvements every day.
To everyone who knows Graeme/G/Big G they know what an amazing guy he is, and he has shown this through his true strength and determination to rebuild his life. Every day he continues to amaze us with his recovery, and we are so proud of him.
For this reason, I want to push myself out of my own comfort zone to raise money for a Charity that support people to rebuild their lives after stroke.
"When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, we can rebuild even more lives"
Any donations would be so massively appreciated. Thank you for your support!
