At YBTC, we walk beside anyone impacted by a brain tumour diagnosis through every step of their journey. Our local support brings comfort, care, and hope to families across Yorkshire- while our local research and investment in 'pump priming' brings us closer to kinder treatments and a cure.

Story

Team Andrew will be out in force again this year to take part in the 64 mile BTRS Big Bike Ride. Andrew will not be with us this year, sadly loosing his battle with brain cancer, passing away on 5th March 2015.

We have decided to have one "Team "Just Giving page to raise as much money as possible in his memory.

Andrew fought his battle with brain cancer for nearly three and a half years. He did it with such courage, dignity, bravery and determination. He never gave up and continued to always have a smile on his face and never let it get him down. Cycling was his passion and getting out on his beloved "Scar" got him through many tough days.

BTRS was a huge support to Andrew and his family, such a great Charity, offering support to fellow sufferers and much needed research into this deadly disease. Brain cancer is the biggest killer in the under 40's.

We owe it to Andrew and in his memory to raise as much money as possible through the challenges we do, to support efforts to find better treatments and ultimately a cure for this killer disease.

Andrew will be sadly missed by all who knew him, he was a great guy and much loved family man. We all have such great memories of Andrew what will stay with us forever.
