Dirty Weekend 2018 · 12 May 2018 ·

We deliver free, quality care and support to over 2,500 patients & families each year

Story

I’m taking on a 20 mile Obstacle Course Race at Rat Race’s Dirty Weekend in May with the Michael Smith Trust team.

20 miles, 200 obstacles including the worlds longest monkey bars and loads of mud!

I’ve done a couple of OCRs before but never longer than 8km so this will be a massive test!

Training has started, I’m not aiming to break the course record as we’ll be going round as a team but I want to make sure I can finish and finish strong!

LOROS is a charity whose aim is to enhance the quality of life of adult patients with cancer, progressive neurological conditions and end-stage organ failure for whom curative treatment is no longer possible. Patients are treated at the Hospice and in the community based upon clinical need, regardless of background and the ability to pay
