Story
Next month I'll be running my first half marathon, and first proper race of any kind, for Crisis.
Those that know me know my runs don't usually extend beyond a plod round the park. I'm now attempting some actual training and on 10 September will head up to Newcastle to humiliate myself in front of thousands of Geordies by taking part in the Great North Run.
I'm doing it to raise money for Crisis. As a Londoner I see the effects of homelessness every day. Crisis works directly with people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, providing one-to-one support to help people find safe and affordable homes as quickly as possible. It's a really important cause.
Please donate if you can. I know times are tough for many, so anything you can give is much appreciated!
